GENERAL INFORMATION

    The invitations and announcements you see here are not "occasion specific". That is, any of the items can be printed with text for any occasion. Regardless of what is printed on the sample, you can chose your item and submit text for any occasion.

    Minimum order quantity is 16

  • Proofs:
    First proof is provided at no charge. Additional proofs are $10 each. Proof is of text and layout only and is sent via e-mail in PDF format. Occasionally we may suggest a change of font if your text would look or fit better in another font. We print invitations all day long and can help you choose something appropriate.
    Proof approval is required before your order is printed. Delay in approving the proof will delay your order. Check carefully: Names, date, time, spelling of everything, RSVP?, phone and e-mail - in short, check everything! Changes cannot be made once proof is approved.

  • Rush Service:
    Normal production time is 2-3 days, depending on season. If your order needs to ship in less than 3 business days, select one of the options below. Shipping time is in addition to production time.
    ~ Less than 2 business days ($20)
    ~ One day service ($35)

  • Cancellation of order:
    ~ Before proofing - no charge
    ~ After proof is sent - $15
    ~ If order is cancelled after production has started, full price will be charged (less shipping, of course)

  • Errors
    We want you to be delighted with your order. After you have approved the proof, if there is an error(s) on our part in your order, we will re-print it at no charge to you. We ask that you ship it back to us and we will credit the return shipping cost to the re-order. Any error(s) or changes on your part, after you have approved the proof are your responsibility.

  • Shortages:
    If we do not have sufficient stock on hand to complete your order, we will notify you by e-mail. You may then choose another stock. Most items can be ordered to be received by us in 10 business days. You may choose to wait for new stock to arrive, just let us know.

  • Shipping
    We will ship your order by UPS, Fedex, or US Postal Service. We do not ship to international addresses at this time. Make sure you submit a complete and correct shipping address. If the package cannot be delivered to the address on your order, any additional charges from UPS, Fedex or the Post Office will be charged to you. Once your order has been shipped it is the responsibility of the carrier to deliver it in a timely manner. We cannot guarantee the service of the carrier. If your shipment is damaged or lost we will work with the carrier to recover costs involved.

  • Privacy Policy
    The Paper Lion respects your privacy and will not sell or disclose any information we receive from you, including your e-mail address.

  • Right to Modify/Change
    The Paper Lion reserves the right to modify/change and/or withdraw information or products on this site at any time without notice.

  • Right of Refusal
    The Paper Lion reserves the right to limit quantities and/or to reject orders at our sole discretion. The Paper Lion also reserves the right to modify or reject content deemed inappropriate.

    ABOUT US

    The Paper Lion opened as a retail stationery and invitation store in 1997 in McKinney, Texas, just north of Dallas. It is not a chain or a franchise, but one of a kind, owned and operated by two long-time local residents.

    The retail store sells and prints invitations and other items from many different companies, the best the industry has to offer. Our staff is experienced and provides superior customer service.

    However, we have chosen to put on our e-commerce site only the custom designs we have created. For years we have called these our "Paper Lion Specials". You will not find these anywhere else.
